As a dietitian, I talk a lot about balance—and that includes making space for dessert. Food is about nourishment—but also joy, memories, and connection.
And few things capture that joy better than smores around a campfire. That’s why I’m excited to introduce you to one of my favorite indulgent twists on a classic: Nutella Biscoff Smores.
Why You Should Try Nutella Biscoff Smores
These smores are everything you love about the original—but with a gourmet upgrade. Instead of graham crackers, we use Biscoff cookies, which add a caramelized, spiced flavor and satisfying crunch.
Then, we swap the standard chocolate square for creamy Nutella, which melts like a dream beneath a warm, toasted marshmallow.
The result? A treat that’s sweet, rich, and unexpectedly elegant—all with just three ingredients. It’s a unique way to elevate your campfire experience, whether you’re deep in the woods or gathered around a backyard fire pit.
From a nutrition perspective, treats like these can absolutely fit into a balanced lifestyle. When we allow ourselves to enjoy foods without guilt or restriction, we’re more likely to maintain a healthy and sustainable relationship with food overall.
There’s no need to “earn” a sweet moment like this—your body and mind both deserve satisfaction.
So let’s get into it. Here’s how to make Nutella Biscoff S’mores for two people (assuming you’ll want at least 2 each!):

Instructions:
- Lay the foundation:
Spread 1 heaping teaspoon of Nutella on the flat side of two Biscoff cookies. Set aside. - Toast your marshmallows:
Carefully roast the marshmallows over your fire until they’re golden brown on the outside and melted on the inside. Rotate slowly and be patient for the best gooey texture. - Assemble your smores:
Sandwich each roasted marshmallow between a Nutella-covered cookie and a plain one. Press gently to let the heat soften the Nutella and bring everything together. - Eat and enjoy!
These are meant to be a little messy, a lot delicious, and best enjoyed warm and fresh.
Tips for the Perfect Biscoff Smores Experience
- Rotate your marshmallow slowly and evenly over hot coals—not direct flame—for the best golden exterior and gooey center. A little patience goes a long way.
- Warm the cookies first by placing them near the fire (on a warm rock, log, or foil) while roasting the marshmallow. This helps the Nutella spread even easier and gives the s’more a cohesive warmth.
- Use a clean stick or skewer to gently slide the marshmallow off—pressing too hard can crush your cookie or cause the marshmallow to tear.
- Let it rest for 10–15 seconds after assembly. That brief moment allows the heat to melt everything together and makes for a cleaner bite.

A Simple Way to Elevate Your Campfire Dessert
Nutella Biscoff Smores are proof that a small upgrade can go a long way. They’re quick to assemble, easy to pack, and totally satisfying after a day on the trail or relaxing in nature.
Whether you’re solo under the stars or sharing a fire with friends, there’s something really enjoyable about ending the night with something sweet, warm, and a little unexpected.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!
FAQ-Nutella Biscoff Smores
Biscoff cookies (also called Lotus Biscoff) are thin, caramelized spice cookies originally from Belgium. They’re the cookies you get on Delta flights. You can find them at most grocery stores, Target, Walmart, or online.
Any chocolate-hazelnut spread works as a direct swap. For a nut-free option, use Biscoff cookie butter instead for a double-Biscoff version, or try plain chocolate spread if you still want that classic s’mores flavor.
About 302 calories per serving (2 smores), which includes 4 Biscoff cookies, 2 marshmallows, and 2 heaping teaspoons of Nutella. For a lighter version, use one marshmallow per smore and go lighter on the Nutella.
